China's famed panda breeding center bans 12 tourists for life over bad behavior

A dozen tourists have been banned for life from a popular tourist attraction in Chengdu, China. The Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding issued lifetime bans to 12 individuals aged between 26 and 61. The ban came after the tourists reportedly displayed bad behavior towards the pandas, including throwing bamboo shoots, lollipop sticks, cigarettes, eggs, and bread. They also allegedly spat into the outdoor play area of the pandas. The Research Base emphasized that the pandas were unharmed. No information regarding the nationalities of the banned tourists has been disclosed.
