Former TikTok executive sues the company for alleged gender and age discrimination

A former senior executive is suing TikTok, alleging discrimination based on age and gender during her tenure. The executive, Katie Puris, claims she faced unequal expectations as a woman and was retaliated against for raising concerns about her treatment. Puris also says the company inadequately responded to her report of sexual harassment. This is not the first time TikTok has faced allegations of discrimination. Two former employees previously filed a complaint regarding racial discrimination. Puris is seeking financial damages.
