The NHL Stanley Cup Final is set as the Edmonton Oilers defeat the Dallas Stars 2-1 in game six of the Western Conference Finals. The Oilers will advance to the final for the eighth time in franchise history and the first time since 2006. Oilers superstar Connor McDavid scored the opening goal, giving Edmonton a 1-0 lead. Forward Zach Hyman later scored to extend the lead. Despite a third-period goal from the Stars, the Oilers held on for the win. The Oilers will now face the Florida Panthers in the final, with the first game scheduled for June 8.
