Wrexham’s star striker will not join the team’s upcoming summer tour of North America due to a back injury. The 29-year-old underwent minor spinal surgery in June to address a long-term back and hamstring problem. The surgery means he will miss the club’s pre-season matches in the United States and Canada. Wrexham is scheduled to play Premier League side Bournemouth in California on July 20, followed by a match against Chelsea four days later. The tour concludes with a game against Vancouver Whitecaps in Vancouver on July 27. The surgery aims to ensure the player’s fitness for the majority of the upcoming season.
