About 50 people received medical treatment on Monday after a Latam Airlines flight to Auckland, New Zealand faced “strong movement” due to a technical problem. Twelve individuals, including one in serious condition, were taken to hospitals. The airline did not provide details about the specific technical issue. One passenger reported a sudden drop during the flight and tracking data showed a gap in information. The Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner was met by emergency vehicles at Auckland International Airport. The flight’s subsequent leg to Santiago was canceled.
